Our Decentralised Ecological Economics Protocol (DEEP) is a pipeline that connects ecological data to digital creatives, enabling the gamification of eco-data.

We call this movement Play-to-Conserve (P2C).
P2C empowers in-game items and cosmetics to gain wild abilities and attributes while saving real animals from extinction. DEEP brings dynamic wildlife data to the gaming world so that animal avatars can start roaming the digital realm and earn value for their real life counterparts. By creating DEEP linked gaming assets that fund and sustain conservation efforts around the globe, game studios are participating in a new green economy.
Conservation organisations share biodiversity data with SNI, which processes the data and makes it available to game studios. The available data sets contain physical or identification data, movement data, data drawn from real-life stories, ancestry information, and tales of the lives of wild animals. SNI ensures the security, maintenance, and regular updates of the data through the DEEP protocol.
Each time a conservation organisation uploads new data from their field work, in-game avatars as well as item sets and accessories reflect the update. The unpredictability of real life data funnelled through dynamic updates keeps players engaged and produces a sustainable funding stream for conservation organisations.
