Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities
We are searching for an innovative Technical Project Manager to join our organization. As a Technical Project Manager, you would oversee Sovereign Nature Initiative's projects from inception to completion and be responsible for controlling the project life cycle – planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring it, while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. You will be helping to set clear timelines, establish goals, manage expectations, and troubleshoot as needed, ensuring valuable and timely deliverables. In a daily routine, you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, and you have to traverse and maintain an excellent conversation level and attitude.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop project specifications and project plan baselines, including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, risks, indicators, and deadlines.
  • Drive project execution, track delivery, expect, monitor, and control change, own change management, proactively seek and resolve blockers.
  • Ensure every stakeholder is informed, has clear goals, and works collaboratively and in partnership with clients and other stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes.
  • Contribute to the provision of documentation for new or improved processes, products, and services and ensure that good practices are going throughout the organization.
  • Support business development by providing customer and project information.
  • Guide teams to create deliverables that connect to the company goals
  • Create, own, prioritize, and refine different project backlogs.
  • Manage and control communication plans.
  • Promote collaboration and engagement.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business and Management, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management (software focus).
  • A demonstrable track record of successful management and delivery of projects.
  • Experience with distributed multicultural teams.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Software Engineering process.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies. Kanban is a plus.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Ability to write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with innovation and research-focused startups.
  • Experience managing or developing projects in the Web3/Blockchain space.
  • Kanban/Agile/PMI certification.

Back End Engineer

  • Design, develop, and deploy distributed highly available mission-critical applications, writing unit tests, integration tests, and automated test routines for our CI/CD platform.
  • Analyze and develop software integration with third-party systems over multiple protocol layers.
  • Mentor others in the domains of the programming languages, technical concepts, and tools you use.
  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Design scalable data ingestion and analysis frameworks as needed for benchmarking systems you are building.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and deploy 2D and 3D computer graphics models and animations.
  • Mentor others in the domains of the programming languages, technical concepts, and tools you use.
  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Design scalable data ingestion and analysis frameworks as needed for benchmarking systems you are building.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years plus of software engineering experience with Node and Typescript.
  • Experience with both REST and GraphQL.
  • Experience with websockets and real time applications.
  • Experience with packaging applications into Docker containers.
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  • Ability to write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with micro services architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in a global multi-cultural environment.
