Founded in 2007, KWT is the principal predator conservation trust in Kenya, and is dedicated to data-driven predator research and community-supported conservation initiatives that enable the long-term viability of predator populations in Kenya. They invest their time and resources in spearheading and supporting science-driven initiatives aimed at predator conservation across Kenya's pivotal ecosystems. KWT has been implementing its own flagship lion and cheetah monitoring projects since 2013. KWT collaborates with grassroots organisations, government agencies, and conservation authorities in Kenya's key ecosystems.
